Roanoke Island Festival Park

The Roanoke Island Festival Park has exhibits detailing life on the outer banks. Inside the museum you will find a variety of hands on exhibits such a duck boat, costumes, a replica of a lighthouse, the Civil war and more.
The theater shows "the Legend of Two Path", a story about the first interactions between the Native American Algonquians and the first English Settlers.
Outside you will find the Elizabeth II, a replica of one of the first ships to reach the area. The ship is manned by people in period costume. You will also find a replica of one of the early settlements and a garden.
The Festival Park is also the scene of numerous concerts, art shows and plays throughout the season.
