Nags Head

One of the most striking features of Nag's head is the huge sand dune known as Jockey's Ridge. This sand dune has migrated over time resulting in a miniature golf course and the old Nag's Head Hotel being buried.

Manteo

Manteo is located on the northern end of Roanoke Island. As an island in the sound, Manteo does not have direct access to ocean beaches. However, it does have several attractions including the Roanoke Festival Park.
